Late Week Pickups – Round 4

Each week I’ll be looking at players who are sitting in the free agency pool that can be used in your matchup that can give you a little extra scoring power. When using these players, I use Ultimate Footy’s ownership of 65% or less to give everyone a go for those that play in bigger leagues.

Sydney Stack: Stack came into the Richmond team last week for his first game and didn’t disappoint. We briefly spoke about him as a waiver pick up on the Monday show, but the fact he is only in 54% of teams means I’m going to mention him again.

Stack was very good on his debut scoring the 89 AFL Fantasy and 108 SuperCoach points from 70% TOG. Richmond will be without the big 4 this weekend so I’m expecting the ball to go flying into defence which will give Stack ample opportunity to rack up the fantasy points.

Daniel Howe: Named on the extended interchange this week against St Kilda for his first game in 2019. Howe is in just 44% of teams and the only way he’s getting into this team is if a midfielder is dropped.

There have been rumours O’Meara will miss with a sore hip, so if he is out I’ll be looking to play Howe in his place.

Allen Christensen: Back in the team this week with Zac Bailey out with injury, Bundy gets his chance after starring in the NEAFL where he racked up 34 possessions, 2 marks and 2 tackles.

In 63% of teams and playing Essendon, Bundy has an ok fantasy record against them, but with Brisbane playing a brand of footy which is good for fantasy, I expect Christensen to be running out of defence or on a wing this weekend.
