In Dozen Deals we use BUY, SELL, HOLD, ADD or DROP. With a view based on a 10 team 22 player roster, buy, sell, drop, and hold will apply to players that will generally be owned, while add will go for those you may find on the waiver wire.

To anyone that held onto Jack Steven and Dan Hannebery, I don’t even know what to say, that’s some good work. I’m surprised these two came back, let alone pulled out a ton on return. Could be some solid returns against Carlton and Sydney. I’d be worried about Jack Steven keeping his form up, as he is still out of shape, but this late in the year, you can’t really get a better add.

Unlike 75% of Collingwood’s list, I’m not a gambler. But these 2 weeks you really have no choice if you’re picking off of waivers. You either gamble on a good match up or just go for a player that’s ended up on waivers at the pointy end of the season. I tend to lean toward match ups, as they should be a little more predictable at this time.

Trying to make the big calls

DROP – Brett Deledio

A calf issue means his fantasy season is over. Can’t see him holding too much relevance in keepers either.

ADD – Quinton Narkle

A surprising performance should boost him into the equation for the last couple of games, a hot streak is all you need to get the job done, and this man was on fire.

ADD – Tim Membrey

As with the above, Carlton and Sydney coming up. These are the best match ups you’re likely to get, and Membrey has been in some decent form of late.

ADD – Mitchell Lewis

Bit of a match up play, as Hawthorn take on GC. Had modest returns in Canberra, despite the Hawks dominating. That said, I can’t imagine snow in Marvel Stadium, where this Sunday’s game will be played for some reason.

Tim O’Brien could also be considered here.

ADD – Jack Bowes

Played better in his second game back from injury, and should look to build on that. Miles may miss this week with injury, opening the door a little more.

ADD – Adam Kennedy

Bulldogs and Gold Coast for the last 2 games and a few players missing from the side. Had a decent outing in the snow, and at only 35% owned will be available in most leagues

ADD – Mark Blicavs

Playing ruck for Geelong certainly helped to boost his score, and it will be interesting to see if Chris Scott goes back to Zac Smith and shifts Blitz down back again. Henderson might be dropped for this, but it seems Hendo+Blitz is better than Blitz+Smith. Watch the teams for this one.

ADD – Adam Cerra

Another lowly owned risky play, Cerra has put together a couple of good games. One version of Essendon is coming up this weekend, so if you like to live dangerously, this is your man. Cerra has the added bonus of being a possible keeper, as one of the Freo youngsters looking to break into the midfield.
