Each week I’ll be looking at players who are sitting in the free agency pool that can be used in your matchup that can give you a little extra scoring power. When using these players, I use Ultimate Footy’s ownership of 65% or less to give everyone a go for those that play in bigger leagues.

We are now at the pointy end of the season with some leagues starting finals or just about to commence their finals campaigns. Good luck to all and bring home that title!

It is Jarryd Roughead farewell match against the Suns and the Hawks will be doing everything to feed him the ball to send the champ off.

In just 33% of teams, Roughead averages 79 AF and 85 SC over his career and will be looking to kick a bag in his last match in Melbourne.

This is more a Supercoach play but Aliir Aliir has had a pretty good season. With Sinclair going down he has played as the 2nd ruck so he gets a few hitouts per game.

In 52% of teams, Melbourne have had an ordinary year and defenders have scored well. With no main threat up forward this will leave Aliir to roam the back line taking plenty of intercept marks. Aliir has averaged 79 AF and 89 SC against the Dees throughout his career.

With Brett Ratten taking over as caretaker coach the Saints have been reinvigorated as a team and Tim Membrey has been a benefactor of this who has been a popular stream option of late.

In 60% of teams, Membrey’s record against the Blues is good with an average of 73 AF and 88 SC over his career. With both teams playing good footy, I expect this to be a bit of a shootout with plenty of goals on offer for Membrey.

Paul Seedsman has enjoyed playing against the Pies since joining the Crows. He is a better matchup for AF where he averages 88 and last time they played scored 119 AF. Seedsman is in 52% of teams and will be looking to back it up again against his former club.
