Each week I’ll be looking at players who are sitting in the free agency pool that can be used in your matchup that can give you a little extra scoring power. When using these players, I use Ultimate Footy’s ownership of 65% or less to give everyone a go for those that play in bigger leagues.

This is the last week of the bye rounds (thank god), so congratulations if you were able to get a few wins with your players out over the last 3 weeks.

Charlie Cameron: Cameron is more a Supercoach play but has put in some solid AFL Fantasy scores as well this year. In 51% of teams, Cameron has knocked out 4 Supercoach 100’s this year and I’m backing him in to knock up his 5th against the Saints.

The last time these 2 teams played Cameron scored an 84 Supercoach and 87 AFL Fantasy. I’m expecting this to be a bit of a shootout but could be a blowout with the Saints having done a fair bit of travelling recently.

Charlie Dixon: In for his first game for the year, Dixon is in just 47% of teams. With both Ryder and Westhoff out of this team, Dixon is not only going to be the main target up forward for the Power but at some stage Lycett will need a break, so Dixon could be thrown in the ruck for aa few minutes and get himself a few hitouts to add to his stat sheet.

Jordan Roughead: Up against his old team in the Bulldogs this week should see Roughead get that former team swag going. In 52% of teams, Roughead should get plenty of opportunities to intercept mark his opponent as the Dogs are not very good at using the ball inside 50. In the game earlier the year, Roughead scored 82 Supercoach and 61 AFL Fantasy points.
